The Wheatley Way
Wheatley’s Class Showdown is a friendly, week-long competition between the different grades. The competition features both traditional and non-traditional activities. This year marks the seventeenth year of Showdown. The competition encourages collaboration among the different students in each grade.
For the Showdown competition, each grade adopts a theme based on its class color. The class colors do not change from year to year and are as follows: 8th Grade: Black; 9th Grade: White; 10th Grade: Red, 11th Grade: Blue; 12th Grade: Yellow. Some of the activities take place or are counted during the day while others take place after school.
Today’s activities included Pajama Day, Let’s Dance, Lego Building and Ping Pong.
